A workshop that blends together - Yoga, Andean Traditions and Guatemalan Ceremonial Cacao.

Basic outlay of the workshop:

Cacaco bombs are eaten - the cacao increases the heart rate by 20% giving more blood flow around the body for flexibility and focus. The yoga will speed up this process and also help to ground and centre. Then we delve into some of the finer aspects of the Andean tradition - doing group work to move Kausay (living energy) more freely within ourselves and between each other. Finishing with a shamanic journey - a deep form of meditation with drumming to integrate, to set intentions or to request higher knowledge.

The Andean tradition is extremely flexible and spacious. It has structure, but no rigid rules and dogmas. Only one moral rule exists in the Q’ero tradition: the law of ayni – the sacred art of reciprocity. Put simply: “When you give something, you are entitled to get something back, and when you get something you have an obligation to reciprocate and give something back.” Ayni is about lifting each other up to higher levels so that everyone grows. It is about sharing, so all have what they need. It is about sharing knowledge and wisdom so that humanity grows and harmony is strengthened. Ayni is a form of equality.


- Cacao increases the heart rate by 20% giving more blood flow to the brain by 40%. If you are prone to migraines, have a heart condition or are on antidepressants, please consult me before coming.

- Some of the cacao bombs contain NUTS - not suitable for people with nut allergies. ... Though, if you do have a nut allergy, please let me know so I can make more of the bombs without nuts.

- Try not to have caffeine, as this may decrease the effectiveness of your journey.
