MacKenzie is a certified personal trainer and international yoga instructor. Her teaching combines thorough understanding of alignment and anatomy with the joy of balance and movement. She engages deeply with her students and her classes are thoughtfully sequenced, creating a safe space to have fun and explore, work hard yet find softness.

In this rooted workshop we'll spend time going over the biomechanics of creating a solid base, opening the front line of the body, and cover how to backbend safely. Learn how to build a solid foundation whether you're on your feet or your hands and from that grounded position allow your heart to smile in your backbends.
By the end you may find that your toes are capable of getting closer to your head in scorpion without compromising the integrity of your lumbar spine than you thought!

Fear is often a major stumbling block for arm balances, but fear no more! We will break it all down into bite-sized pieces and play with some fun variations and transitions. This class is all about getting you on your hands.
Join MacKenzie Miller to examine principles of alignment in arm balances. She will share basic poses to condition your mind and body to progress safely to more advanced arm balancing postures.This workshop will explore arm balances in a safe and approachable way, helping you overcome fears and preconceptions, build core strength, enhance the strength and stability of your shoulders and wrists, improve your focus and concentration, and awaken a greater sense of aliveness.
