In my mid twenties I lived in Australia where my exploration, passion and newfound love of yoga came into being. As a gift I received a beautiful little book called ‘Yoga Postures for your body, mind and soul’ by Jessie Chapman and proceeded to spend many hours in a small, stuffy bedroom with a beach towel as my yoga mat and a ceiling too low to extend my arms fully overhead in any sort of salute to the sun, trying to understand and recreate these wonderful images. Little did I know at this stage the powerful impact yoga would have on my life.

After some well needed guidance from amazingly gifted and dedicated teachers who all helped to enrich my passion and understanding of yoga my journey began to evolve. I went on to study and train with the YTTC - Ireland, Birthlight - London, Sadie Nardini, Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga - NYC and Jane-Louise Kelly, Yogabuddies - Ireland. I’ve also been fortunate enough to commence study under the guidance of world renowned yoga teacher Shiva Rea - I'm currently training to become a Prana Flow Teacher. My training with Shiva takes me all over the world, most recently to India and California.

I've also been very lucky to have recently worked with and appeared alongside the children involved in the BBC NI lifestyle series Slim Chance Fix my Family after BBC NI called upon my expertise to join the crack team of experts in their bid to tackle obesity within three families.
